Arcom Windows 2000 and XP Drivers Installation

 

If the "Found New hardware Wizard" does not appear on the screen:

 

            Shut down your PC and connect your Arcom Board to your PC.

            Boot your PC and follow the instructions for your Operating System.

 

If the "Found New hardware Wizard" appears on the screen:

 

            Follow instructions for your Operating System.

 

 

Windows XP Installation:

 

On the “Found New Hardware Wizard”:

•Select “Install from a list or specific location (Advanced).

•Click Next.

•Select “Search for the best driver in these locations”.

•In “Optional Search Location” Select  “Specify a location” and chose the location to which you have extracted the drivers.

•Click Next.

•Click Finished.

•Reboot your PC when asked.

 

 

Windows 2000 Installation:

 

On the “Found New Hardware Wizard”:

•Click Next.

•Select “Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended)”.

•In “Optional Search Location” Select  “Specify a location” and chose the location to which you have extracted the drivers.

•Click Next.

•Click Next.

•Reboot your PC when asked

 

 

Usage:

 

Usage of these drivers is beyond the scope of this document, however, the Arcom PCI Windows 2000/XP drivers are directly compatible with the previous NT4 ones. A help file Arcompci.hlp that describes function usage, is included in this archive. This should be read in conjunction with the appropriate board manual.
